Obituary of Lawrence Bondinello

Lawrence Dean Charles Bondinello, age 63, of Clifton Park, passed away on August 18, 2015. He was the son of the late Anna (Gafforio) and Lawrence Charles Bondinello. He was also predeceased by his sister, Irene Bondinello. Larry was born in New Hyde Park, NY and moved upstate in 1988. He worked as a landscaper for 35 years for Ireland and Gannon in Oyster Bay, NY, White Birch Nursery in Rotterdam, NY and Union College in Schenectady, NY. He worked as a landscaper, but his passion was horses, racing and Saratoga. His family began coming to Saratoga for the August racing season when he was 14 years old. In all the years since, he has only missed one August track season. That was the summer Brigitte was born. Larry was part owner of a race horse, Easy Street. He was not a champion horse, but Larry enjoyed watching him race live. He is survived by his wife, Martha (Burgoyne) Bondinello, Brigitte (Justin) Baldwin and grandson, Jonah Michael Baldwin. He is also survived by several cousins, an aunt and uncle, his brothers in law, Dick (Navy), Randy (Mickie), Tom (Kim) Burgoyne. Nephews, Tony (Beth), Nicholas (Shonna), Russell, Greg, Eric Burgoyne and great nephews, Tyler, Mason and Justin Burgoyne. Calling hours will be held at Catricala Funeral Home Inc. 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a service at the funeral home at 2:30.
