David J. Chapman, age 55 of Largo, FL passed away suddenly on April 13, 2016. He was born on May 4, 1960, the son of Julia McHargue and the late Stanley W. Chapman. David was a proud veteran of the US Navy, and served with the Navy SEALs. He worked in auto body repair and as a contractor in Florida. He enjoyed repairing clocks and watches and relaxing on the beach under the Florida sunshine. He is survived by his mother, Julia McHargue, step-father Ronald Dreher, daughters Kris Ann (Ricardo) Rodriguez, and Tanya Chapman, sister Dawn (Ed) Keyrouze, grandmother Jennie Dahoda, granddaughter Aimara Rodriguez-Chapman, niece Amanda Phelps, and nephews Austin (Elva) Phelps, and Justin Keyrouze. He is also survived by half-siblings, Darlene, Cindy, Joanne, and Tom, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral service on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
