Robert J. "Beobe" Dahoda, age 49 passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016 after a brief illness. Born on June 20, 1966, in Troy, he was the son of John and Patricia Dahoda. Robert was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School. He was employed as a master tradesman with custom home builders his entire life. He enjoyed all forms of extreme motorsports. Bob was a very active member of the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church, and liked going on rides with the church motorcycle club. He was full of compassion for animals and rescued many into his home. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Laura, son Jacob, daughter Ashley (Brian) Cameron, sister Eileen (John) Pettis, brothers John (Sandra) Dahoda, and Nathan Dahoda, and granddaughter Hanna. He is also survived by his grandmother Jennie Dahoda, mother-in-law Murielle Squadere, godsons Joshua Eiffe and Daniel Dahoda, and many family members. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 12 p.m. at the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church Building Fund for the new sign, 971 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
