Obituary of Scott W. Mushorn

Scott W. Mushorn, age 56 of Halfmoon passed away suddenly on Friday, September 9, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1960, the son of Joan M. Mushorn, and the late John W. Mushorn. Scott was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and worked construction with his father early in his life. He worked as a chef at many restaurants in the Clifton Park area and most recently was a butcher at Price Chopper in Clifton Park. He is survived by his fiancé, Sheri Mattie, mother Joan M. Mushorn, son Justin Mushorn, brother Wade C. Mushorn, granddaughter Kinley Faye Mushorn, Sheri’s daughter Emily Schroeder, nieces Erika Sue, and April Marie Mushorn, and great-nephews Derek Jr., Nathan, and Dominick. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday September 13 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a service of sharing at 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park.
