Obituary of Constance B. "Connie" Pfaffenbach

Constance B. “Connie” Pfaffenbach, age 76 of Clifton Park passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes. Born in 1941, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Bonner. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Kelly Pfaffenbach.

As a young girl, Connie enjoyed working at her father’s pharmacy, Menges and Curtis on Broadway in Saratoga. She was employed at General Electric for 6 years before staying home to raise her family. She enjoyed playing tennis, tending to her garden at home, and volunteered her time as a Brownie Troop leader. She loved to organize and cook large holiday meals for her family, going to the Saratoga Race Course, and spending her summers at the family camp at Sacandaga Lake.

She is survived by her husband William Pfaffenbach, daughter Debbie (Peter) Gardiner, and her sons Kurt and Karl (Penny) Pfaffenbach. She is also survived by her grandchildren Megan, Robert, Brian, Lauren, Julia, and Michael, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral service on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Eddy Village Green House #5 for all of the excellent care and support that they provided Connie and her family.
