Obituary of Normand R. Caron

Normand R. Caron, age 70 of Clifton Park passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. Born on October 14, 1947 in Lewiston, ME, he was the son of the late Albert and Marie Jeanne Caron.

Normand graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College. He spent his career with the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, retiring after 30 years. Normand was a communicant of St. Edward’s Church and enjoyed hunting and golfing.

He is survived by his wife Angela J. Millhouse Caron, son Brian R. Caron, step-son Thomas J. Daniels, sister Muriel (Caron) Hamann of Lewiston, ME, brother Raymond Caron, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Edward’s Church in Clifton Park. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
