Mildred Larkin, age 99 passed away on February 27, 2018. Born on April 26, 1918 in Pleasantdale, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ada Lowell Konen. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Larkin, son John Larkin, granddaughter Sarah Denison, and her siblings William Konen, Elizabeth Simard, Alexander Konen, Helen Milne, George Konen, and Marion Geiser.

Along with her husband, Mildred operated Larkin's Lunch diner in North Troy until the late 1940’s or early 1950's. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, going to the horse races with family and watching Yankee baseball on TV but being with her family and friends were her priority and was a loving Grand Mother and Great Grand Mother and was a fun person to be with

She is survived by her daughter Maureen (James) Denison, grandchildren, Stephen Denison, Lauren (Brendan Fitzgerald) Denison, and Ryan Denison, and her great-grandson John Fitzgerald, and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Edward's Church in Clifton Park with a funeral mass to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Lansingburgh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
