Eric A. Catricala, Funeral Director, Owner, and Manager

I was raised in Watervliet. After graduating from Watervliet High School, I continued my education at Hudson Valley Community College for Mortuary Science, and subsequently became Nationally Board Certified as a Funeral Director.

I believe strongly in developing local ties and establishing a presence in the community. I am involved in many local organizations and activities.

I am a charter member of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club, an international organization dedicated to improving the lives of those in need locally and throughout the world. Everything Rotarians do is measured by a 4-way test:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

I realized from the beginning that this was a work in progress and it would take time to become successful. With hard work, living by the 4-way test in all that we do, and providing the best service at the lowest cost possible, we would achieve the success we have today.

Jeremy Lindemann is a native of Schoharie County, graduating from Middleburgh HS in 2006. Jeremy attended and graduated with his associate's degree in Mortuary Science from Hudson Valley Community College, and became a Nationally Board Certified Funeral Director. Jeremy did his residency with Bond Funeral Home of Schenectady and stayed on with Bond for several years as a licensed director before moving back to the Schoharie Valley.

Following the turmoil of the pandemic and lockdowns which resulted in the location he worked at having to close, he spent some time in the world of Corporate Funeral Service. After experiencing the other side of the industry, he is thrilled to be working at Catricala Funeral Home, getting back to his roots as a community-first funeral director.

Although Halfmoon is new to him, he has enjoyed living in the area and getting to know the people. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Gina, hiking local trails and just being outside.

Kevin V. Murphy is a graduate of Simmons School of Mortuary Science in Syracuse, NY.

He has been a licensed Funeral Director for 37 years and is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

After spending the bulk of his career in the world of corporate funeral service, he is proud to be an associate of Catricala Funeral Home, providing personal care to the families we serve.
