Jessie Elizabeth Leggett Farron, age 94, of Clifton Park, NY Passed away Peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the Washington Center Nursing Home. Born on April 26, 1931, in Waterford, she was the daughter of the late David and Jessie Winney Leggett. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Edward Farron. Two brothers David and Harold Leggett, and a grandson Justin E. Furgason.

Jessie was a graduate of Waterford High School, the class of 1949.

Jessie worked as an office clerk for many years at the former Ford Clothing Manufacturing Company in Waterford, NY, before becoming an administrative clerk at Shenendehowa Central schools for an additional 20 years. During her career she was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters Susan Furgason and Lynda (Henry) Owen.

Three grandchildren Jeremy (Jessica) Furgason, Jonathan T. Riordan and Marcia Owen, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The grave side service will be held Friday May 30, 2025, at 11am in the Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville.
