Dorine Beyer, 91, of Halfmoon, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Malta.
Born in 1934, Dorine was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Provost) Preston. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 68 years, George Beyer, and her sister, Shirley Muller.
Dorine dedicated her life to her family and took immense pride in her home. She found joy in gardening, birdwatching, and was happiest in the kitchen cooking or baking. A faithful member of her church community and a passionate New York Yankees fan, she lived a life rooted in love, tradition, and faith.
She is survived by her four children: Bethann Beyer (Linda), Kim Anatriello (Matt), Mark Beyer (Diana), and Stacey Shinski (John); her seven cherished grandchildren: Vincent (Caryn), Valerie (Michael), Janice (Ray), Lauren (Tyler), Mitchell (Amanda), Erin (Ian), and Brooke (Ryan); and her eight adored great-grandchildren: Angelina, Ethan, Max, Avi, Luca, Mazie, Lou and Scottie. Dorine also leaves behind her dear church friends: Shirley, Jackie and Walt.
The family is deeply grateful to the caring staff at the Home of the Good Shepherd for their kindness, compassion, and dedication in caring for Dorine.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's of Crescent, 86 Church Hill Road, Waterford, NY, followed by interment at St. Michael's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dorine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Community Hospice of Saratoga County, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
