Martin D. Chicoine, age 76, of Stillwater, NY passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Martin was born in Troy, NY in 1948, the son of the late Edward F. and Eleanore (Petersen) Chicoine. He was also predeceased by his wife of 34 years: Kathleen F. Chicoine.
Martin attended Troy High School, and following his departure from school, he went to work for Kustom Rehab, fabricating custom seating for wheelchairs and mobility devices.

He deeply loved his family, and although he was a man of few words, he had a deep wisdom that was a source of calm and guidance for those who took the time to listen.
He married his soul mate, Kathleen F. Kane, on February 15, 1969, and they built a life together, raising three children, and relying on one another until her passing on June 5, 2003, nearly 22 years to the day before her husband.
Martin leaves behind his three children: Martin (Amy) Chicoine, Melissa Chicoine, and Kimberly (Tyrone) Gladden; seven grandchildren: KayCee, Madison, Alicia, Timothy, Nevaeh, Derek, and Justin; and three great-grandchildren: Caliana, Cooper, and Akira.
