Obituary of Amy L. Arnold
We are heartbroken to share that Amy Arnold passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the age of 50, from an aortic aneurysm.
Amy's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beloved daughter, Ava Willingham (11). She poured her heart, energy, and laughter into every moment they shared.
Amy was a force of nature. Her smile could light up any room, her quick wit could bring levity in the hardest moments, and her determination inspired everyone around her. She had a gift for bringing people together, and her loyalty to family and friends never wavered.
She is survived by her daughter, Ava; her siblings, Josh, Nick, and Chloe Arnold; her mother, Jean Blinstrub; her stepmother, Carol Arnold; Ava's father, LeRoy Willingham; and her beloved dog, Sadie Girl. She is also lovingly remembered by many extended family and friends. Amy was preceded in death by her father, Gary Arnold.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. at The Barn at Power's in Clifton Park, New York, honoring Amy's wishes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support Ava's future. A 529 education fund will be established in the coming weeks; in the meantime, please reach out to Josh or Jean for details. Your generosity will help ensure Ava is supported in the years ahead, and the family is deeply grateful for the kindness shown during this time.
We also invite you to share a short video reflecting how you knew Amy and a favorite memory. These will be compiled for Ava, preserving her mom's impact in a way she can treasure forever. https://share.vidday.com/e/m-cmx0jv
Though Amy's time with us was far too short, her love, laughter, and spirit will live on through Ava and the many lives she touched.
