Raymond L. Echevarria Obituary

Raymond L. Echevarria, 69, of Clifton Park, NY, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, September 19, 2025.


Raymond was born in 1956 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Antonio Echevarria Quinones and Alejandra Peña.


Following his graduation from High School, Raymond enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served until his Honorable Discharge in 1973. He was employed by Armory Auto in Albany, NY, and worked as their Marketing Manager.


When Raymond wasn't at work, he enjoyed serving as an Assistant Coach for Frozen Ropes in Clifton Park. His biggest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.


Raymond is survived by his mother: Alejandra; his wife of 27 years: Linda Echevarria, his children: Barbie (Vinny) LaBarbera, Raymond (Cristal) Echevarria, and Christian Echevarria; his grandchildren: Vincent LaBarbera, Kory Felix, Sarina LaBarbera, Ariel Echevarria, and Jasmine Echevarria; a great-granddaughter: Amelia Felix; a sister: Norma (Tony) Muniz; a brother: Jose (Maria) Echevarria; and his nieces and nephews: Amanda (Alex), Sorayah, Joseph, and Daniella.


A visitation for Raymond will take place from 9:00am to 11:30 am on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, New York 12065 with a funeral at 11:30. Burial will take place at 1:30 pm following the service at GBHS Saratoga National Veteran's Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
