Josephine "Josie" Marinello, 97, passed away on October 2, 2025. She was born in 1928, the daughter of Aneillo and Lucy Marinello and the mother of Richard A. Marinello who passed away in August, 2014.

She was born and educated in Mechanicville, NY and was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church (now Church at Lower Newtown Road) for 32 years, serving in every area that she was qualified for yet her calling was preparing and serving high quality meals at her home for missionaries, pastors, family and friends.

She was employed at the Montgomery Wards in Menands for 30 years as a Credit Analyst and Payroll Clerk. She also worked part time from her home as a Bookkeeper for Arkay's Business. After Montgomery Wards closed, she went to work for Standard Manufacturing Company in North Troy, NY where she was a Payroll and Personnel Manager for 20 years. She retired from there.

She is survived by her sister Esther (Abe) Laurenzo of Vancouver, Washington and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by many siblings, nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 11 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in the Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville, NY.
