Sandra M. Curley, age 76, passed away on November 15, 2025 around 6 am, following a long battle with lung cancer.

Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Mallison. Sandy was predeceased by her brother Craig Mallison, and her husband of 50 years, the late Thomas F. Curley. They were married on October 20, 1973 at Our Lady of Assumption, Latham, NY.

Sandy worked at Motor Vehicle, then was a home maker until her children got older. Then she worked at Shen School District for 16 years, where she was either Mrs. Curley or Sandy, and was very popular with everyone.

Sandy enjoyed camping with her family, going cross country in their RV, and enjoying the camp at Schroon River. She was the "Hostess with the Mostest", and was known for her hospitality, kindness, and generosity.

Sandy is survived by her sons, Thomas Michael and Brian Patrick Curley, her sister Diana Gadowski (the late Paul Gadowski), her brothers Edward Mallison (Mary Ellen), Lance Mallison, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at St. Mary's of Crescent, 86 Church Hill Rd, Waterford, NY 12188.
