Liam Patrick Gleason Obituary

Liam Patrick Gleason, 41, of Clifton Park, NY, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 surrounded by his family and friends.

Liam was born in 1984 in Stonybrook, NY, the son of Kevin and Susan (Bosch) Gleason. After graduating high school, Liam earned his Bachelor's of Sociology from the University of Albany. In September of 2013 he married the love of his life, Jaclyn Rosada, and together they built a wonderful family, raising three children.

Liam was largely involved in the lacrosse community. While earning his degree, he played Lacrosse for the University at Albany under Scott Marr from 2004-2007. After Liam graduated from the University at Albany he began his coaching career with Siena College. He was later named the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach for the College of Saint Rose. He returned to The University at Albany where he coached under Scott Marr and brought the team to the Final Four Championship weekend. Liam was named the Head Coach at Siena College in 2018. Liam's entire heart was lacrosse. He ran a Stags travel program to help build the youth of lacrosse in the Capital Region. Liam adored his three children and dreamed of a big back yard to play lacrosse with them, which he did all the time. He and his wife loved trying new restaurants for good eats. They loved to visit Maine and LBI during their summer vacations. Liam loved to cook a big turkey every Thanksgiving - his pride and joy. Liam had a boat on Saratoga Lake that he would hold anyone hostage on because it was his happiest place to be. Liam was the calmest, kindest, gentlest, and most thoughtful when it came to being a husband and father to his family. Liam loved his brother, and any time they were together they would giggle for hours. He loved his parents and their home-cooked meals more than anything. He was so proud of the incredible happy family and home he and Jaclyn built.

Liam leaves behind his wife: Jaclyn Gleason; their three children: Kennedy Gleason (9), Penn Gleason (6), and Tate Gleason (4); his parents: Kevin and Susan Gleason; his brother : Brendan (Allie) Gleason; sisters-in-law: Taryn Rosada and Carolyn Rosada; a Brother-in-law: Dan Lopez; nephews: Conlan Gleason, Wells Gleason, and Lucas Lopez; his mother-in-law: Lee Harbrecht; and his father-in-law: Peter Rosada.
