Kristen E. Schofield, 43, passed away suddenly but peacefully on 12/28/2025 at Samaritan Hospital with her loving family at her bedside.

Kristen was born on 8/25/1982 in Niskayuna, NY, to Bradford and Nancy Schofield (Tallman).

Kristen graduated from Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, NY. After high school she worked in real estate and at a local bank. Kristen enjoyed spending time with and caring for her dog, Jeter, many fish and axolotls over the last few years. Kristen had a passion for thrifting and turning trash into treasure. She treasured the friendships she made within that community.

Kristen is survived by her mother: Nancy Searl; her father: Bradford Schofield, Sr. (Jackie); sisters: Jennifer Paquin (Eddie) and Brianne Nosal (Brandon); brother: Bradford Schofield, Jr.; nephew: Nicholas Paquin; nieces: Carly Paquin and Adaline Nosal; as well as many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Kristen will be deeply missed.

Kristen's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joseph Choma, Dr. Mark Chalmers, the staff at Westchester Medical Center, St. Peter's, and Samaritan Hospitals, the Rubin Dialysis Center of Clifton Park, and finally the EMS of Clifton Park/Halfmoon. Without all of you we would have had to say goodbye much sooner. Thank you doesn't even begin to tell you how grateful we are.

A period of visitation for Kristen will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, with a Sharing of Memories at 3:45 pm on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, 12065.
