Michael Alan Feulner Obituary

Michael Alan Feulner, 59, passed away on December 30, 2025, at St. Michael's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Born in November 1966, the son of Alan & Elizabeth Feulner, on Midway Island in Hawaii, Michael lived a life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Michael proudly served in the United States Army, with assignments at Fort Ord in California and Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment—qualities that remained central throughout his life.

He was survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary Feulner and his children Sara Feulner; Sarah Rivera and her husband Raymond; Norman Warner III and his wife Kate; and Lauren and Rick Russell. Michael found immense joy in being a Papa to Jacob and Lucas Russell, Grayson, Julian, and Oliver Rivera. His five grandsons were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Michael shared close bonds with his siblings: RJ Feulner; Edward Feulner and his wife Cindy; and Eileen Jones and her husband Gordon. He was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family and friends were at the heart of everything Michael did, and he made those around him feel supported and loved through both words and actions.

A man of many passions, Michael enjoyed fishing, camping, motorcycle riding, playing with his dog Spike (aka pupperdoodles), and music. Whether exploring the outdoors, traveling to places unknown,or cruising on two wheels with music playing in the background, he embraced life with enthusiasm. His love for motorcycles was more than a hobby—it was a reflection of his free spirit. Music also played an important role in his life, providing both comfort and joy.

Michael will be remembered as kind-hearted and compassionate—a man who brought warmth into every room he entered. He had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen, heard, and valued. As a husband, father, papa, brother, son, veteran, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A visitation in honor of Michael's life will be held at Catricala Funeral Home in Clifton Park, NY on January 20, 2026 from 10am-12pm with military honors immediately following.
