Richard Lyle Wiltsey, 94, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Troy Victorian Nursing and Rehab.

Richard was born in 1932 in Cohoes, NY, a son of the late Elmer and Ruby (Sober) Wiltsey. He was also predeceased by his first wife: Barbara Wiltsey; his second wife: Patricia Wiltsey, his brother David Wiltsey, and his sister, Doris Hems.

Following High School, Richard enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served honorably. Following his discharge, he earned an Associate's Degree from Albany Business College, and went to work as a clerk for the New York State Senate. He retired in 1990.

When Richard wasn't at work he enjoyed singing Karaoke, and was a fan of opera.

Richard leaves behind his daughter, Alicia Fry, his nephew David Wiltsey, and 2 grandchildren.

At Richards request, a graveside service will take place at 11:00 am at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Veteran's Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville NY on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
