Courtney Leslie Wigand, 58, of Clifton Park, New York, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Courtney was born in 1967 to Clarence Leslie Deuel and Hilda Mae Rivenburgh. She dedicated many years of her life working as a Shift Supervisor at CVS Pharmacy, where she was known for her hard work, and caring nature. Courtney also spent many years of her life being a caretaker for her mother, Hilda, and she found it to be one of her greatest joys.

Courtney loved her family deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Ashley Wigand; her son, William Allen Wigand as well as her cat of sixteen years named Baby. She also cherished her "grandbabies" — Butters, Eli, Misty, and Penny — who brought her joy and comfort. She also leaves behind her siblings, Kim, Christopher, and Jamie; and is now with her sister Tierney in heaven. She will be missed by extended family members, her CVS family, and her friends who loved her.

Courtney found happiness in her cats, enjoyed reading Jodi Picoult novels, and loved watching her favorite shows and movies including Criminal Minds, Bones, House, The Hangover trilogy, and many others.

Those who knew Courtney will remember her for her strength, compassion, and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 16 between 10am-12pm at Catricala Funeral Home located at 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park, NY.
