Marion Y. Belkevich, 80, of Halfmoon, New York, passed away at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Born in Troy, NY in 1946, Marion was a daughter of the late Herman and Thelma Green. She was predeceased by her parents and her daughter: Tracy Belkevich-Gori.

Following high school, she married John A. Belkevich on June 22, 1963, and together they started a family.

Marion was a talented artist, and taught ceramics for 25 years. She operated a Seeley Doll Studio, and became a Grand Master doll maker, winning many blue ribbons. She made authentic costumes for her dolls, and enjoyed teaching her students the art of doll making. Most recently she was the owner of Kreative Korner in Halfmoon, NY. She loved vacations with her family, going out to eat, and especially playing slot machines at the casinos.

Marion is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 63 years: John A. Belkevich; their three children: Robin (Mike) Stott, Lisa (Ron) Singley, and John (Jessica) Belkevich; eight grandchildren: Ron Singley (Katie Taylor), Lindsay Singley, Emily Belkevich (Kurt Spencer), Isabella (Tyler) Cyr, Sam Fowler, Ally Belkevich, Zach Belkevich, and Jaelyn Belkevich; seven great-grandchildren: Hunter Belkevich, Cady Spencer, Nathan Stott, Charlotte Cyr, Vincent Taylor Jr., Kiarra Johnson, and Julian Starks; and her two siblings: Colleen Hebert, and Daniel Green.

A period of visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
