Linda Baratier, 79, of Clifton Park, New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital while surrounded by her family.

Linda was born in 1947 in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Frederick and Gloria (Howard) Palmer. She was also predeceased by her husband: Nelson Baratier, her daughter: Valerie Wright, and her brother: Lee Palmer.

Following her graduation from Shenendehowa High school in 1965 Linda attended SUNY Geneseo. After attending Geneseo, Linda and Tom Wright operated a Log Home business from their home for 12 years. She also worked for many years as a manager for Nyren Brothers Wholesale Floral supply owned by her father. Later she went to work as an administrative assistant for Ianniello, Anderson, & Reilly Law in Clifton Park, retiring in 2004.

When Linda wasn't at work, she enjoyed volunteering for Captain Youth and Family Services and spent many years as the secretary for Union Cemetery. She was an avid seamstress, gardener, and Rummicub player, and a known word search expert. Linda enjoyed spending quiet hours watching the birds and was devoted to her family. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her daughter: Patti (Jan) Friedman; her four grandchildren: Kyle (Kasey) Wright, Faith Wright, Stephen Wright, and Maya Friedman, as well as several nieces.

A graveside committal service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Crescent Union Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Kevin Brustle.
