Rose A. D'Alessandro, 95, of Halfmoon, NY, previously of Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Rose was born in Queens, New York in 1931, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Frances Pandone. She was also predeceased by her husband: Nicholas J. D'Alessandro, and her sister: Carrie Caruana.

Rose cherished her family, and spent her time keeping her home and caring for her loved ones. She enjoyed spending her free time crocheting and reading books.

She leaves behind her two children: John (Bernadette) D'Alessandro and Maryfrances D'Alessandro; her grandchildren: Nicholas Ross D'Alessandro, Evan Michael (Rachel) D'Alessandro, Caitlin Nicole D'Alessandro, Robert Cody Jones; and her nephew: Joseph Caruana.

Calling hours for Rose will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home 132 Ronkonkoma Ave, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. A funeral mass will be held the following day: Friday, July 24, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 45 Church St, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, with a burial following the mass at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
