Kathryn Rose DeBlasiis, 84, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (previously of Clifton Park, New York), passed away peacefully at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Born in 1941 in Corinth, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche (LeClair) Whitaker.

Following her high school graduation, Kathryn attended beauty school. She went to work for Sears in Colonie, New York from which she retired in the late 1990s. On July 14, 1962 Kathryn married the love of her life, Gilbert DeBlasiis, and they shared their lives together for 54 years until his passing in 2016.

She is survived by her two children: Jeffrey Jon (Candyce Marie) DeBlasiis, and Stephen Paul (Kathryn Cramer) DeBlasiis; their four grandchildren: Christina DeBlasiis, Bridgett DeBlasiis, Kyle DeBlasiis, and Nicholas DeBlasiis; and a great-grandchild: Adalynn Skowfoe.

A period of visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Following the visitation, Kathryn will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gilbert, at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Veteran's Cemetery in Schuylerville, New York.
