Doris Cassidy, age 88 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 14, 2022. Born on June 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Dora Berg. She was predeceased by her husband Gene Cassidy and her son Jimmy Cassidy.

Doris owned and operated D&G Plaza in Clifton Park for over 30 years until the present. She previously ran D&G Auto Parts along with her husband Gene for over 35 years.

She is survived by her daughters Linda (Spencer Wohlers) Cassidy, Catherine Cassidy, and Patricia (Dr. K. Yap) Cassidy, brother William C. (Carol) Berg, grandson Patrick Yap, and nephews Billy and Gary Berg.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 17th from 2 to 4 p.m. with a service at 4 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park.

The family requests no flowers be sent. Donations may be made in her name to the Jonesville Volunteer Fire Dept., 953 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
