Paul J. Drezelo, age 91 of Queensbury passed away peacefully on July 5, 2023. Born on March 13, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Drezelo. He is predeceased by his siblings James, Joseph and Stanley Drezelo, Rosa Summers, Gertrude Best and Amelia Marlow.
Paul served his country in the US Marine Corps before spending his career as a civil engineer for the NYS Dept. of Transportation. He worked in the Syracuse, Albany, and Poughkeepsie offices. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, most recently a member of the Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus. Paul spent many years volunteering his time in dedication to the service of others through church and various community-based activities.
Those who knew Paul will remember him for his kind heart, willingness to help others, and his playful humor. Most of all he was a beloved and cherished family man.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Drezelo, daughters Marianne (William) Dalton of Pittsford, NY and Patricia (Eric) Alexopoulos, of Clifton Park, NY, his sons Paul Drezelo of Clifton Park, NY and Michael Drezelo of Rock City Falls, NY and his loving grandchildren Billy, Megan, Rachel, and Sarah.
The family will be receiving guests at 10 am prior to a memorial mass on Monday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 Route 9, in Round Lake. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
