Janice Myra Brenner Miesing, age 74, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Janice was born in Newark, NJ and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa Brenner.

Janice was raised by wonderful parents, was a devoted mother, and showered boundless love as a caring Grammy. She touched the lives of every person she encountered with her kind and loving heart and a smile that would light up any room. Her legacy of warmth and family devotion will forever live in our hearts.

Janice went to high school in Irvington, NJ, attended Rutgers University and graduated from the University of Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado where she studied art history. Janice worked for 52 years in the dental field. She worked for 35 years for Dr. Stuart Kraut and then finished her career after 25 years with Capital District Endodontics in Niskayuna.

Janice embraced her love for art, painting, and admired Monet's Water Lilies. She found joy in hiking, cherished vacations in Maine, enjoyed shopping for loved ones, and took pride in being the self-titled "Matzo Ball Queen," making her signature matzo ball soup with love and care.

Janice is survived by her daughter Debra (Brendan) Regan, her son Marc (Fumi) Miesing; 8 Grandchildren: Abigail, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Jonathan, and Samuel Regan; Kai, Joshua, and Micah Miesing; and her companion of 22 years Henry Molt.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday January 2, 2024 at 1:00pm at Congregation Gates of Heaven (852 Ashmore Ave, Schenectady) by Rabbi Matt Culter. Burial will be immediately following at the Jonesville Cemetery. We invite you to join us in observing Shiva for Janice, offering comfort and support during this time of mourning. Shiva will be held between Tuesday evening and Thursday evening at the home of Debbie and Brendan in Ballston Lake.

In lieu of flowers, it was Janice's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Research in her name (https://events.lustgarten.org/fundraiser/5149328).
