Stillwater, NY. Douglas C. Setter age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 30, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Pompton Plains NJ, he is the son of Bruce and Diane (Troast) Setter.

Doug is survived by the love of his life Cara Finkle and her two children, his parents and stepmother, Lynn Setter, along with one brother, Nicholas Setter and three sisters, Cassandra and (Cory) Hobbs, Allison and (Andrew) Ellerson and Jessica Setter. He is also survived by his Paternal Grand Father Edgar C. Setter along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Doug served in the United States Air Force from 2009-2013 where he served in Guam and Virginia as a Munitions System Journeyman.

Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved his two German Shepherds Wren and Ammo.

Calling hours will be held at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY on Saturday July 6, 2024, from 10am-12pm. Burial is scheduled for Monday July 8, 2024, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 10:30 am.
