Elizabeth "Betty" Doran, age 83, of Rexford passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025

Born on January 10, 1942, in Syracuse, and resided in Rexford since 1945.

She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Doran.

Ms. Doran was a graduate of Niskayuna High School class of 1959 and a Graduate of Albany Business College.

Betty Worked as a Bookkeeper for Sears Roebuck Regional offices in Colonie Center for 14 years and Wedekind Motors in Schenectady for 17 years. She spent many years Volunteering at Captain's Treasure shop and was a member of the friends of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon public library. Shen Senior center and the Rexford Auxiliary of the John McLane Hose Company. She enjoyed Traveling, Reading and collecting Teddy Bears.

Survived by many cousins including Debbie Haas, Helen Barber, Michelle Barber, and Lisa McGlinch; and several friends, including Sue and Tom Lessard, as well as many local neighbors.

Services will held from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park NY, followed by a service at noon. Burial will take place immediately following in the Hudson View Cemetery in Mechanicville, NY.
