Alan R. Prescott, born in 1948, age 76, of Halfmoon, New York, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 at Albany Medical Center. His close friend Steve was at his bedside.

Alan recently enjoyed driving for Lyft, and had worked as an insurance representative for Combined and Aflac. After graduating from SUNY Oswego Alan became passionate about his association with the North Eastern New York PGA and spent many memorable years as a professional golfer, equipment manufacturer, and trainer.

Alan was a man of his word, generous, and faithful, and will be dearly missed and remembered by his friends and colleagues as well as the many clients to whom he provided valuable advice and services over the years.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on February 5, 2025 at The Ugly Rooster Café, 2476 US-9, Malta, NY 12020 from 2:30 pm until 5:00 pm
