Harold G. Cropsey, Sr. Age 85, of Halfmoon Passed away on March 8, 2025, at Samaritan Hospital, after a brief illness. Husband of the late Gay L. Cropsey

Born in Bronxville, NY, the son of the late Bernard and Antoinette Cropsey.

Harold was the former owner of Snyder's Restaurant in Halfmoon for over 25 years. He worked as a salesman for Chicago Pneumatic for 40 years and was a friend to all his customers throughout his multi state territory. He then continued his career with Mohawk Rubber as a sales team leader.

Harold was a lifelong member of the Edison Club, loved to play golf. He enjoyed Boating, deep-sea fishing, Hunting, Snowmobiling, and owned and enjoyed multiple cabins in the Adirondacks.

Harold is survived by a son Harold G. (Linda) Cropsey, Jr. a daughter Kiva A. Cropsey.

A Brother Bernard (Paula) Cropsey. Three grandchildren Stephanie, Matthew and Tyler, and 2 great grandchildren Brandon and Dean.

A life celebration will be held Friday March 14, 2025, from 4-9pm at the Fairways of Halfmoon Golf course, 17 Johnson Rd, Halfmoon NY 12118

There will be no calling hours, burial will be private.
