Obituary of Louise Longsden
Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louise (Riedel) Longsden, 78, of Hoosick Falls, NY, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany NY with her daughters at her side.
Louise was born in 1946 in Glendale, California, the daughter of the late Martin and Metha (Read) Riedel. She graduated from Glendale High School, and after graduation, devoted her life to raising her family.
Louise was incredibly devoted to her faith. She loved her Lord and her church. When she wasn't at home with her daughters or at church, she could be found antiquing and shopping. She also deeply enjoyed watching her grandsons, whom she called "her boys", play baseball, and she loved her family.
Louise is survived by her three daughters: Michelle (Rick) Rowles, Jeneanne (Jad) Zoghbi, and Charise Marroquin (Bill Wood); her grandchildren: Dakota, Stacia, Sophia, Mia, Blake, and Evan; her brother: Richard (Carleen) Riedel; and her granddog: Gidget Barkdoe.
Services for Louise will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1593 Crescent Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Louise's deep faith, her family has requested any donations in her memory be made to the King of Kings Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1593 Crescent Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
