Obituary of Maureen C. McKevitt

Maureen C. McKevitt, age 76 of Malta passed away on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at Saratoga Hospital. She was born on December 14, 1937 in Albany, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Gallogly Becker. Maureen was a 1956 graduate of Cathedral Academy in Albany. She worked for the Saratoga County Dept. of Mental Health at Saratoga Hospital, retiring in 2003. She was a Malta resident for 46 years. She is survived by her husband James E. McKevitt, daughters Mary Jo Rohling, Kathleen Uline, and Colleen Nitchman, son James A. McKevitt, and grandchildren Nate, Michaela, Mickey, Maureen, Hannah, Jilly, and Ben. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Saratoga. Interment will follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
