Grace E. Krawiecki, age 94 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital. Born on May 15, 1920 in Halfmoon, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Hatlee. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Krawiecki. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Emma Lake and Liza Englemore and brothers, Abner and Ellis Hatlee. Grace worked for the NYS Dept. of Transportation for 20 years. She enjoyed travelling and taking care of her family. She was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church, the Shenendehowa Senior Center, and was a lifetime member of both the Clifton Park/Halfmoon Fire Dept., and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary in Clifton Park. She is survived by her sons, Edward F. (Diane) Krawiecki, and David W. (Kim) Krawiecki, two grandsons, Brian (Michelle) Krawiecki and Kevin (Amy) Krawiecki, two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Courtney Krawiecki, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Clifton Park. Burial will be in Clifton Park Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Clifton Park – Halfmoon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, 38 Old Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Grace’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wesley Health Care Center, 4 Springs Floor for their compassion and care.
