Dorothy G. White, age 88 of Halfmoon passed away on Saturday May 16, 2015. Born on April 30, 1927 in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Evonne Prescott. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard L. White, and sons Leonard H. White, Gary A. White. Dorothy was a resident of Halfmoon for most of her life. She worked at the Place for Steaks in Clifton Park, and K-Mart in Watervliet. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Crescent. She is survived by her son Robert L. (Linda Imbarrato) White, daughter Darla M. (Bernard) Zabek, daughter-in-law Darlene White, brother Kenneth Prescott, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Wesley Health Care Center for all of their excellent and compassionate care that they provided for Dorothy. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Saratoga County, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
