Timothy R. Hughes Sr, age 48 of Halfmoon, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2015, surrounded by his family, in St. Peter’s Hospital. He was born on October 30, in Niskayuna. He is predeceased by his grandparents: Harold and Alta Hughes and George and Ann Gagnon Sr.

Tim graduated from Shenendehowa school in 1986 and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He owned and operated Creations and Glass making stained glass windows for over 10 years. He also worked for A&M Industrial as an account executive.

He was a Jack of all trades. He loved cooking, going on cruise ships and camping with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Joanne E. Hughes, son: Timothy R. Hughes Jr, daughter: Miranda A. Hughes, step son: Cameron A.D. Kildoyle, parents: Elliott and Bonnie Hughes, brother: Kevin (Tammi) Hughes, their children: Dylan, Katlynne, Nicolette and Christopher, sister: Kimberly (Greg) Sala and their children: Briella and Alicia. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends.

Calling hours will be held at Catricala Funeral Home Inc. from 4 to 8 pm on Friday. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 am on Saturday. Burial will take place following the service at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Waterford.
