Deborah Reid D’Antoni passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, she attended Schenectady and Niskayuna schools before graduating from the University of Rochester and the New England school of Law. She subsequently joined the Air Force as an Intelligence Analyst. Upon leaving the Air Force, she joined the 109th Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard as a traditional guardsman and practiced law for several years. She later became the full-time Air Technician for the Intelligence section and then was promoted to the commander of the 109th Communications Flight. While working full time, she graduated with a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Albany. She retired from the Air National Guard as a Lt Colonel in 2007 after over 28 years of military service.
Deborah is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Joseph D’Antoni, her siblings Mary Reid, Susan Parisi and David Reid. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Olivia Squaglia, Reid Squaglia, Kellen Reid and Flynn Reid and by her step daughters Tamara D’Antoni and Teri Anne Robich.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St, Schenectady. A gathering will take place at the funeral home at 10 am, Tuesday. Burial with military honors will be in Saratoga National Cemetery following the gathering at 12 noon.
