So sorry to hear about uncle George. My family spent many wonderful summers at the lake with Gloria, Jimmy and Ellie. George was such a special part of those happy times. He will be missed by all.

Prior to the bar and restaurant endeavors, George was an accomplished musician, working with many of the big bands of the 1940s, in particular Gene Krupa, playing lead saxophone and clarinet.
Aside from his family, his true love was Lake George, where he owned a home overlooking the lake and enjoyed fishing, boating, and delighting in the magnificent views for over forty years.
Having the pleasure of being his neighbor for a number of years, we enjoyed his wit and wisdom, and cocktails at 5. We love you and will truly miss you...

I always looked forward to seeing him, as with all of you. He had me do a little research the end of June regarding his big band participation, his youth as a musician..never knew... I was happy to deliver web pages to Lisa and Marn.
We laughed in June, then he described his hardscrabble youth and we cried and we will all miss him and we, today, share your sorrow.
