Dear Nick & Family,
We just learned today of Mary's sudden passing. We are deeply saddened. Words can't describe how sorry we are. We can't even imagine the pain you all must be feeling. I am so saddened by Mary's unexpected passing. I worked very closely with her at the VNA and appreciated how kind and gracious she always was to me. Nick, Stephen, Seth and Kate,
I am so very saddend by the lose of this amazing, wonderful person. I spent many an evening with Mary during the time I worked with her at the VNA. She was the nurse I always wanted to be. Compassion is an understatement. She always gave 100% at her work. Never miss a thing, ever a perfectionist and never complained. She was loved by her patients and her colleagues.
Family was her focus always. Our conversations were always our children. My kids are older so I would let her know what was to come as they grew. I'd say enjoy the baby yrs as it goes quick. I remember her pregnant with Seth and Kate - even then it never interfered with her work. How happy WE were with Kate! Finally the girl came and her family was complete!!!
Please know I loved Mary and I cannot believe she is gone. My prayers are with you and your family.

I only knew Mary for a short time as I worked with her at VNA. The news of her passing has affected me more than I thought it would as I only had a few interactions with her. Mary grew to be one of my favorite people at the organization. She had a smile on her face every time I saw her and was always so sweet and pleasant. She was always willing to help me and made an extra effort with every patient case.
I can't imagine what you as her family are going through as she was taken much too early. I will miss her dearly and walking by her office will never have the same feel for me.
I am sending you lots of prayers and love, even though we may never meet.

Mary was a wonderful person. She had the most amazing smile that was infectious. you couldn't help but smile back even if you were having the worst day ever. She never showed angst or aggravation. I had the honor of working with Mary since 2008 at the Vna both sharing patients when she was out in the field and in her recent position of drug review nurse. She was one of the nicest and sweetest people to have contact with and cared greatly for her patients. When we did run into each other at a patient's home or in the office we always spoke of having 2 boys and a girl in common and she always had a story or advice for me. I will greatly miss her always happy and positive demeanor and I am terribly sorry for your loss!
