Lee A. Buck Obituary

Lee A. Buck, age 68 of Halfmoon passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home. Born on September 22, 1947, he was the son of Rose Buck and the late Gerald Buck.


Lee served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Highway Department of the Town of Halfmoon for over 30 years, and was the Highway Superintendent for 6 years. He was the past chief of the Clifton Park Fire Department, and served on the board of directors of the American Legion Post 1450. Lee enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.


In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife JoAnn E. Buck, son Steffen (Lindsay) Buck, sisters Sherri (John) Walczak, Paula Donovan, and Donna (Joey) Wiseman, and his brother Richard (Carolyn) Buck.


There will be a graveside service with military honors on Friday at 12 Noon at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. in Schuylerville.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave, Schenectady, NY 12302.
