Obituary of Beverly E. Lanteigne

Beverly E. Lanteigne, age 75 of Troy passed away on Sunday December 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Alden and Mildred Franklin. She was predeceased by her husband Lonny Lanteigne, and brother John Franklin. With her husband Lonny, Beverly was the co-owner and office manager of L&L Blacktop and Sealcoating in Troy for 47 years. She was very active in her church, and served on the facilities and grounds committees of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Troy for 25 years, and Faith Lutheran Church for 5 years. She was known for her instinctive mechanical abilities and getting jobs done. She is survived by her son James (Joyce) Lanteigne, daughter Kim (Kevin) Hedley, brothers Robert (Nancy), Arthur (Jean), William, and Paul (Mary) Franklin; grandchildren Maranda Lanteigne, Alicia (Karl) Watson, Tiffany (Jacob) Fredericks, and Joseph and Alexander Hedley, and great grandchildren Brayden, Maxwell, and Sabastian. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors that have helped her immensely over the past year, her cat Bubba, and her granddog Cole. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral service Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 50 Leversee Rd, Troy, NY 12182. Burial will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 50 Leversee Rd, Troy, NY 12182.
