Fay R. Hatlee, age 77 of Halfmoon passed away on Thursday February 20, 2014 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home in Clifton Park. She was born on March 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Henry and Emma Fountain. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin R. Hatlee Sr., and daughter Kimberlie A. Petersen. Fay was a devout Christian and was a former Sunday School and Bible study teacher. She even took a trip to Red China to spread the Word. She loved animals, camping, and most of all, she loved her family. She is survived by her sons Edwin R. (Angelina) Hatlee Jr., and Donald (Bonnie) Hatlee, and daughter, Diane (Bill Ryan) Hatlee son-in-law Rick Petersen Jr., grandchildren Rick Petersen III, Amber Kreitner, Edwin Hatlee III, Everhett Hatlee, great-grandchildren Isabella, Jacob, RaylieAnn, and Mason, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a service on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
