Mom,
As I have some quiet time now that the preparations are done for your funeral I want to say thank you and I will never forget all the things you've done for us over they years.
I can still recall the nights you would care for all of us kids whenever we were sick, the countless hours you would help me with homework, always making sure we had a hot meal, the countless loads of laundry but most important making sure we always went to church and we were grounded in our faith in God as his mercies endure forever .
Kiri still remembers how you and Dad would come to her swim meets and cheer her on, sometimes louder the the parents in the crowd.
As your reunited with your parents and relatives in heaven know that I will still think of you daily and we'll make sure that Dad is taken care of.

My Mom.. Who I often called "Ma". Those who knew her, knows that she lived a good, simple, life. She didn't need glitz and glamour, her bright self was all that was needed and shined.
Ma never wanted to be in the "spotlight", she just wanted to love and care for all she knew. Always putting others feelings, and health in front of her's, regardless if they were family, friend, or acquaintance.
A typical 'old fashioned homemaker, always cooking, cleaning, knitting, or saying her rosary.
Every time I visited she always made sure I left with food or snack, saying "come on Kennet, eat some something, or bring this home for later...
Ma always referred to me as her "baby" being the last born son, even the nurses in the hospital would say "Oh, you must be her baby"! Being blushed, I would say "of course", but my name is Ken, but she calls me Kennet (Ma always forgot to pronounce the h on the end of my name, my family can relate, LOL!)
Anyways, I could write so much about my Ma, but I will hold those memories close to my heart and cherish them all.
Thank you Ma for raising, and providing for me, loving me and my family so dear, and offering guidance and advice.
I'm so glad to have spent so much time with you, to be there for you.
Your last wishes will be granted. Don't worry about Dad, the family will be there for him.
You are now at peace, not suffering, in heaven as an angel no doubt. Please watch over all of us and guide us.
There is no doubt in my mind, that you were greeted at the gates of heaven with open arms.
I love you 'Ma, rest in peace and I will cherish our times together.

Jody and I offer our deepest condolences to the Hassett family. Not only did we share many years with Ann and Wally in the fire service, but we were also neighbors for 34 years and fellow communicants at St Edwards. The one word that describes Ann best is gracious. Ann's passing will leave a deep hole in her family's hearts and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.

Ann was an amazing woman, wife, mom and grandmother!! She was very proud of her family! Ann always seemed to have a smile on her face. Ann had a gentle touch and was a great conversationalist about life and cooking!! Ann will always have a special place in our hearts!! Rest in peace!!
