Nancy A. Hebner Obituary
Nancy A. Hebner, age 83 of Clifton Park passed away on Friday February 26, 2016. Born on August 22, 1932 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marjorie Griggs. She was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand L. Hebner.
Nancy was a graduate of the Parsons School of Design in NYC, majoring in graphic design. For over 40 years she worked for Hebner Studio, which was founded by her husband, who designed the Duracell battery label.
For many years she sold her paintings privately.
She was active for 40 years with the National Council of Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, where she held Club, District, and State offices. She achieved the standing of Master Flower Judge while lecturing and teaching.
She was a member and communicant of Christ Community Reformed Church in Clifton Park.
She is survived by her son Christopher Hebner and his wife Karen, her son Paul Hebner, grandchildren Lucas, Julia and Rachel Hebner, and her sister Susan Carpenter.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9th at 11:30 a.m. at the Christ Community Reformed Church, 1010 Route 146 in Clifton Park. Burial in the Saratoga National Cemetery will follow.
