Obituary of Jean Ann Langlais

Jean Ann Langlais, age 80 of Clifton Park passed away on Sunday March 6, 2016. Born on June 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Amelia Smith. Jean worked as a seamstress, and loved to sew for her family. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home family. She was loved and will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughters Donna, Lonna, Cheryl, Colleen, JeanAnn, and Mary. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the food pantry at the Living Hope United Methodist Church, 126 Middletown Rd., Waterford, NY 12188, or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
