Obituary of Richard J. Martin

Richard J. Martin, age 75 of Halfmoon passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1938 in Albany, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Martin. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes Martin. Richard worked in the gas department for Niagara Mohawk in Saratoga for 30 years. He loved to golf, gamble at the Racino, and play the guitar. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Dawn (Lee) Lussier, Jodi (Joe DeRuscio) Aubin, and Tara Martin, sister Beverly (Don) Montgomery, grandchildren Anthony Aubin, Sarah (Billy) LaRose, Tammy (Brian) Montgomery, Erin (Mike Pinke) Lussier, great-grandchildren Austin, and Ethan LaRose, and Caleb Montgomery, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
