Obituary of Margaret Hilley

Margaret “Peggy” Hilley entered eternal life on July 30, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn in 1923. She is survived by her children Mary Hilley, Eileen (John) Chera, Sheila Hilley (Jorge Constantino), John (Barbara) Hilley, Kathleen Hilley, Maureen (Jim) Occhiogrosso, Barbara (Ralph) Pistor, Brian Hilley (Kevin Stephens), as well as Dr. David (Susan) Ruppert. In addition, Margaret is survived by her grandchildren John, Tim (Theresa), Ryan, Colleen, Erik (Anna), Declan, Kelsey, Patrick, Melissa, Natalie, Michael and Gregory. She was predeceased by her husband John, daughter Patricia, and grandson Matthew. Margaret’s family is very grateful to St. Peter’s Health Partners, Schuyler Ridge Residential & Adult Health Care Center, and Community Hospice of Saratoga for the heartfelt care she received. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 6 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 6097 Amboy Road, Staten Island NY. Burial will follow in The Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary’s Crescent, 86 Church Hill Road, Waterford, NY 12188 directed to the attention of Richard Putorti for the CLI or Breakaway youth programs.
