Obituary of Cheryl A. Jones

Cheryl A. Jones, age 59 of Ballston Lake passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 16, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Shirley Shields. Cheryl was a graduate of the Keveny Memorial Academy in Cohoes. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 41 years; Wayne W. Jones, son Wayne W. (Erin) Jones II, sister Faith M. (Scott) Christner, brothers Warren J. Shields Jr., Daniel (Kathy) Shields, Patrick (Mae) Shields, and Timothy (Brandye) Shields. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Peter’s Oncology/Hematology Dept., 315 So. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
