John Corbett posted a condolence

I, sadly, was unable to attend John's viewing or funeral, but wanted to send my condolences to you. I worked for many years as a Xerox salesman and was supported by John and his team. In all of those years, I never dealt with a friendlier, more common sensical or more efficient guy than JO. We would often chat about all types of things, including his distinguished military career, and although he was deeply humble about it, he was also very proud. Like all things, after retirement I'd only see John at the racino on
occasion and used those times to catch up with him. Although it is difficult to lose anyone, it has to be more so to lose someone as John. I think of him often and will always value the relationship that we shared.
Sincerely,
John Corbett

We are so very sorry to hear of John's passing. Through our father Len, a friend and colleague of Johns', we knew him through a handful of memorable occasions. Even as a younger man (hardly a teenager), I could recognize the traits that made up a well rounded and honorable/fun loving man. We hope his legacy carries on with his generations to come...

If I could live half the life you did, and give to my country and community, then I would be a better person. You truly blessed your family. Rest in Peace Uncle John.
