Obituary of I Yu

I Yu, age 82 of Clifton Park passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He was the son of the late Yu Dian Cheng and Wu Hsueh Hui.
Mr. Yu was employed as an engineer for the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation for 28 years. He was a founder of the Chinese Community Center.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Yu, son Randy Yu, daughters Winnie Yu, Margie (Todd) Cossman, and Alison (Colin MacAllister) Yu, and his grandchildren Samantha, Annie, Erica, Jodi, and Raina.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in I Yu’s memory to The Northeast Health Foundation, SPHP Center for Philanthropy, 310 So. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
